There will be no official form that we work from because we feel this put us in a proverbial box. We don’t want to force ourselves into something that will take away from the product or idea we are trying to introduce you to. Add this to our dedication to have actual experience with a product before broadcasting our ideas and we think you will find our content to have more substance and value. Please follow along and don’t hesitate to reach out with any suggestions as to things you would like to see or format you would like to see it in.

Who Is Jason Benson

Jason with his DA200 powered 42% Dalton, Extra 300ML.

Jason started flying RC when he was 7 years old. Over the years he has flown pretty much every form of RC model. From micro electrics to giant scale acrobats, helicopters to turbine powered jets, and everything in between. If it flies he wants to try it out.

Jason started working as a contributor with Air Age Media in 2007 and wrote over 100 reviews and articles for their publications. These include Model Airplane News, Electric Flight, and RotorDrone Magazine. Beyond written contributions Jason also provided “How To” videos on various aerobatic maneuvers to try to help other modelers better their flying.

Since 2008 Jason has been heavily involved in the sport of IMAC. He flew the Tucson Aerobatic Shootout four times, the US NATS in IMAC twice, the Clover Creek Invitational in 2010, and also represented the US team at the 2014 IMAC worlds in the Advanced class.

Jason also really enjoys 3D flying with Giant Scale aircraft. He finds this form of flying very relaxing and loves working toward learning new maneuvers. As we mentioned above Jason enjoys all aspects of RC so there is generally an FPV racing quad copter, and FPV racing wing, and a camera drone in the truck ready to go at any time.

Jason’s day job is as a Cisco Voice Over IP engineer. Other hobbies include photography, boating, playing trumpet, and most anything outdoors.
